Team Dynamics Intelligence for Construction Projects
REVEALING THE RISKS THAT NEVER MAKE THE REGISTER
Most construction projects fail at the people layer long before they fail on project programme, cost or safety. Know Your Teams gives project directors and site leadership a clear, bespoke picture of how their teams operate, how people make decisions, handle pressure, communicate and where they're likely to clash — so you can lead more effectively from day one, not month six.
Know Your Teams takes construction team intelligence to a whole new level, providing you with bespoke actionable reports without the interpretation. We provide the early warning system which allows you to see why there is a potential breakdown at the client interface, why two of your senior engineers keep grinding against each other, or why information doesn't flow effectively at a specific supervisor/manager interface.
Using individual colour profiling data as the foundation, we build a named, relationship-specific analysis of your teams — your leadership group, your client interface and across the key touch points you define. Our analysis arrives ready to act on, not ready to be decoded. Surface potential conflict, improve employee mental health, improve communication and productivity.
THE PROBLEM
You can read a programme. You can read a P&L. But you can't always read a room or see the potential impact on people and projects on the horizon — so we do it for you.
Most project problems have a people precursor. We've all seen those human differences manifest themselves across key project interfaces. The client rep and your PM haven't quite clicked. Two senior engineers are competing rather than collaborating. A JV partner or Tier 1 whose site manager operates nothing like yours.
Our individual uniqueness, the strengths and differences people bring are undoubtedly beneficial elements in complex projects. However, without data, awareness and engagement, different communication styles and ways of working can potentially lead to team tension, project breakdowns and even incident.

THE SOLUTION
Know Your Teams works with senior leaders, project directors and site leadership to profile the behavioural preferences of their project teams and then analyse in detail how those preferences are likely to shape individual and team relationships now and into the future. We look at other situational forces, current relationships and any signs of breakdown such as safety incidents.
Using proven colour-based behavioural profiling tools, we reveal how individuals in your team think, decide, communicate and respond under pressure. We then examine all the team profiles and cross team touchpoints that matter most: within your leadership team, across the client interface, reporting lines, at key subcontractor boundaries and the key relationships you define.
We provide a practical picture of where your team is strong, where friction and risk is foreseeable, and what you can do about it. No complex interpretation, no confusing jargon, just your teams, your team members and who they deal with day to day. We work across teams to surface those personal differences and preferences (potential relational risks) before they develop into costly project breakdowns and human failure modes.
Most importantly, the teams themselves become elevated, buying into their human differences and what it means for them, their project touchpoints and how they can get the best from each other in their unique work environment.

ABOUT
Our consultants come from the real world of work — decades of experience spanning engineering, construction and team leadership. In more recent years, that work has principally been culture change and safety leadership consulting across major projects in rail, tunnelling, marine and utilities.
One thing became impossible to ignore. The vast majority of our engagements were initiated after something had already gone wrong. We were rarely called in to prevent a problem — we were called in to help diagnose and help fix one.
That observation stayed with me. And it brought to mind a quote I'd carried for years, from Robert Updegraff's 1954 book All The Time You Need — The Greatest Gift In The World:
The tide point had arrived in almost every engagement — and by then, the damage had already begun.
What if you could see the dynamics coming — before the project begins, before a leadership change lands, before a new contractor walks on site?
And so it came to be.....
Thank you for your interest.
